Happy Thanksgiving Featured
Happy Thanksgiving...
Happy Thanksgiving seems so easy to say - so something that should be said more than once a year. Though Thanksgiving roots are primarily American, Canada celebrates a similar holiday in October, and other countries around the world have identified similar days to pause and give thanks for a bountiful harvest. In my quest to be inspired on Thanksgiving 2015, I checked a few websites for historical facts and found this site http://www.plimoth.org/learn/multimedia-reference-library/read-articles-and-writings/thanksgiving-history
We have so much to give thanks for as we reflect on 2015 - not the least of which are the people who are near and dear to us, the gift of living in this free country, and the opportunity and ability to gain new experiences as often we want to stretch ourselves. Today's photo was intended to reflect much of who and what we are grateful for. If per chance, you're reading today's post and you don't find yourself in the photo, it's because I didn't have a photo of you...but know that you have touched our lives and for that we are very grateful.
Thank you, thanks, grazie, danke, merci, gracias, cheers, and ta...whatever your language or word preference let us not forget to say it and mean it. As Dr. Bryan Sexton reminds us there are health benefits to expressing gratitude and thankfulness every day. http://youtu.be/hZ4aT_RVHCs
Thank you for making a difference in our lives - for making us better people for having known you, and for making the world a better place to be.
