This is a really short post - we've just returned from a 4 day trip to the Murray River, so more to come about that. But as we were unpacking Graham called to have us come up to the "big house" as Rocky - the property's resident kangaroo had finally appeared. We've been watching for him to appear and today was the day.

Rocky was injured by neighborhood dogs and the Kirbys rescued him - an Australian Ranger (their version of the DNR) rehabilitated Rocky and returned him to the property. The neighbor dogs were barking and Rocky was very tuned in to them, but seemed to not be too concerned about us approaching with our cameras. 

More tomorrow about the Houseboat trip, exploring in Echuca, Victoria and various other outstanding experiences. 

 P.S. My 2 competitive sisters tied for the Aussie word contest and we found very appropriate prizes for them both today.
